Rolling Stones to play at Orlando Citrus Bowl, June 12

RollingstonesfinalThe Rolling Stones will play at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando on June 12.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer made the announcement on Tuesday morning, confirming the date on Twitter.

Orlando is one stop in a 15-city Rolling Stones Zip Code tour in North America. Other cities include Dallas, Pittsburg, and Milwaukee.

“We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer!  We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs,” said Mick Jagger, in announcing the 15-city tour.

The Rolling Stones last performed in Orlando on December 7, 1997 in support of their Bridges to Babylon Tour and prior to that October 24 & 25, 1981 at the Tangerine Bowl at Rock Superbowl XII in support of their Tattoo You Tour.
