A baby who was stuck in an L-shaped portion of a sewage pipe in an East China province, is being nursed back to health.
Firefighters sprung into action to remove the toilet pipe, after a landlord reported she heard a baby cry.
The baby boy, which weighed 6.2 pounds still had the placenta attached to him when he was rescued.
Although initially in critical when he was taken to a local area hospital, his condition is described as stable.
It is believed that the boy was flushed away in the toilet, as his parents did not want him, according to news reports.
