This Florida man punched an 80-year-old Applebee’s patron in the face, because he asked him to stop cursing and talking about “titties and ass.”
Mikie Sawyer, 26, was arrested and charged with a felony for battering a person over the age of 65.
Harry Sander, the octogenarian, told police that he heard Sawyer “talking obscenities,” the smokinggun.com reports. Â Sander said that he approached Sawyer and asked him “politely if he could please stop using the ‘fuck’ word and stop talking so loudly about “titties and ass,” according to a police report.
Sawyer told Sander he didn’t have to stop cursing then proceeded to punch him in the face, pushing the pensioner to the Applebee’s floor, the smokinggun.com also reported.
Sander was left with a red-eye and a bruised and discolored left cheek. He was treated for his injuries by emergency medical services who responded to the Applebee’s.
Sawyer, who was apprehended during a traffic stop, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.
