Last week, I interviewed Regina Hill, one of the candidates running for the city of Orlando Commission, District 5 seat, concerning the recent news of attorney Juan Lynum entering the race.
“Voters in District 5 are not interested in continuing the Lynum legacy and I will continue to knock on as many doors as possible to discuss my plan for the area,” she said.
Ms. Hill has consistently been in the media defending her background, but it appears that the media coverage has begun to work in her favor. Not only has she successfully positioned her message utilizing print, television and radio resources, but she has also built strong allies across the city of Orlando.
“I believe it is important to be accessible to answer tough questions,” Hill said. “I stand for the people and the people are standing with me.”
I will be the first to admit that, initially I didn’t think Regina Hill had even the slightest chance to win this seat. However, her consistent accessibility has convinced some of Orlando’s key stakeholders to join Hill in her fight to win.
Like it or not, Regina Hill has officially raised the stakes!
LoL!!!! That’s funny! Thirty year career criminal!! LOL!!!! That’s funny!!!!!
Looks like persistence pays off. Go Regina.
