According to OCSO Homicide detectives, Ramsys Cruz Abreu will face additional charges of manslaughter, possession of cannabis, and unlawful disposal of human remains.
On April 11, 2017,  a passerby noticed the body of a young woman that was lying on the side of Ziegler Road and called 911. Deputies arrived on the scene and notified OCSO Homicide Squad detectives. The victim suffered trauma to her body. She was fully clothed and appears to be in her early 20’s. A neighborhood canvas by detectives determined that no resident in the immediate area heard or saw anything unusual overnight. It is believed the victim’s body was dumped there during the overnight hours.
