The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is warning drivers to expect detours lasting two days over two consecutive week-ends, as CSX Transportation is scheduling crossing surface rehabilitation work at the State Road 482/Sand Lake Road rail crossing.
The detours will be as follows:
Closure One:
9 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 through 6 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013.
Eastbound Sand Lake Road: Unaffected
Westbound Sand Lake Road: North on Currency Dr.
West on Titan Row
South on Chancellor Drive
West on SR-482 / Sand Lake Road
Closure Two:
9 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 through 6 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013.
Eastbound Sand Lake Road: Unaffected
Westbound Sand Lake Road: North on Currency Dr.
West on Titan Row
South on Chancellor Drive
West on SR-482 / Sand Lake Road
This work on the rail crossings is independent of SunRail corridor construction.
