As billionaire businessmen Charles and David Koch mull over purchasing the Tribune Company, protesters gathered Thursday at the Orlando Sentinel to protest the change.
Protesters held signs and made speeches decrying the possible sale of the Sentinel and seven other Tribune Company newspapers.
“We want to make sure it stays the Orlando Sentinel and doesn’t turn into the Tea Party Tribune,” said Amy Ritter, executive director of Florida Watch Action, a nonprofit that organized the protest, to the Orlando Sentinel.
