Property Appraiser’s Office to assist residents at 2014 Orlando Home & Garden Show

RickSingh2On January 24-26, 2014, The Orange County Property Appraiser’s office will be in attendance at the 2014 Orlando Home and Garden show to provide information to Orange County residents regarding their homes. Orange County residents will have the opportunity to ask OCPA staff members about the many property exemptions available to them, the application process, and much more.

“My goal has always been to extend OCPA service to where the taxpayers are. The time to file your Homestead exemption is here, and the Orlando Home and Garden Show is a great opportunity to connect with Orange County property owners and assist them with their property questions and concerns” said Rick Singh.

“By utilizing our mobile technology we can answer questions onsite in a matter of seconds. We can provide information affecting their property, demonstrate their property’s value, and teach them how to utilize the free public resources that my office offers.” he further added.

The Orlando Home and Garden Show will take place on January 24-26, 2014 at the Orange County Convention Center. For information on the show and expo times, please visit www.orlandohomeandgardenshow.com.

The time frame to file for property exemptions is January 2 – March 3, 2014. For more information on OCPA’s outreach programs, please contact Yulissa Arce at [email protected].
