A just-released poll finds that, with less than three weeks to go in the race for Florida’s 9th Congressional District, former congressman Alan Grayson (D-Orlando) now leads Todd Long (R-Winter Park) by 15 points: Grayson 56%, Long 41%.
Notably, Grayson enjoys an enormous 58% to 40% lead among voters who have already voted, suggesting that the Grayson campaign is benefiting from an “enthusiasm gap”; Grayson voters are more motivated to vote.
Among Hispanic voters, Grayson’s lead has now grown, to Grayson 66% vs. Long 27%. Hispanic voters are shunning Long because of Long’s promise to prohibit Spanish in the courts, schools and public hospitals, and to bring the racist Arizona Law to Central Florida.
The poll revealed that, Grayson has moved to a solid favorable view with the voters, enjoying a net favorable rating of 14 points (53% favorable, 39% unfavorable). Among Hispanics, he has an incredible net favorable rating of 44 points (67% favorable, 23% unfavorable). In contrast, reports of Long’s abusive misconduct clearly have taken their toll: Long has a net favorable rating of zero.
The poll was conducted on Oct. 11-12, 2012, among likely FL-9 voters. There were 487 respondents, and the margin of error was 4.5%. Among the respondents, 43% were Democrats, and 28% were Republicans, reflecting the registration in the district. The poll was conducted by Gravis Marketing, a Central Florida polling firm.
Former congressman Alan Grayson is the Democratic nominee in the newly-created 9th District. The district is heavily Democratic. It includes southern Orange County, Osceola County, and eastern Polk County.
It’s truly scarry to think that voters are so stupid to vote for someone that was a huge embarrassement the last time he was in congress. Grayson is someone who will do and say anything to get elected. And, if anyone does not already know this – is actually ran ads to support Long so that he wouldn’t have to face the other challenge in the primary. Do yourself a favor and do some research before you vote. The only person Grayson cares about is himself.

Another fixed poll . Grayson is so far to the left . He will be a disgrace to the office if he gets elected again. Lets hope and pray he doesn’t.
I think Graceson is pretty much what would have been considered a middle of the roader in when Reagan was President – it is just that the Republican Party has moved so radically to the right, Barry Goldwater would be considered too far left for the Tea Party Republicans of tooday.

When I went to vote for hm yesterday, I found out that I was outside his district. I was so disappointed. I wish I could vote for him to support his courage in telling the truth about the greedy and heartless conservatives who are running this country into the ground and destroying the world in the process.
