A woman who staged an entire crime scene by crashing her car into a hydrant on Rosamond Drive and who said she was raped by three masked black men, was arrested by police yesterday and charged with making a false report to law enforcement.
Samaria Renford, 18 years, was arrested on Monday afternoon after detectives concluded that the woman made up the whole story to get back on her boyfriend whom she claimed had cheated on her.
Renford had claimed she was forced off the road in the 5000 block on Rosamond Drive off OBT around 2:30 am, on Monday morning. When detectives arrived on the scene Renford was completed naked, telling police that she was intentionally side swiped and forced off the road by a black Taurus, causing her to crash her vehicle.  She also claimed that one suspect approached her vehicle and told her if she tried anything she would be killed. Renford also told deputies she was ordered out of her car, told to remove all her clothes, close her eyes and was taken into the bushesw here the two other suspects took turns at raping her.
But, upon investigation,police found that Renford’s story did not add up with the evidence at the staged crime scene.

Renford subsequently admitted that she intentionally crashed her boyfriend’s car and lied about the rape in hopes that he would take her back and be nicer to her. She said that her boyfriend had been cheating on her.
Resources of nine officers, including a K9 were dedicated to this incident.
Orlando Police charged Renford with making a false report to law enforcement.
