Eustis Police have arrested two men and charged them with burglary and grand theft of copper and aluminum wire and other electric utility property valued at over $18,000.

Owen Watson

Owen Watson, 23, and Travis Myers, 25, were arrested after police determined that more than 1600 feet of copper and aluminum cable were stolen from the ole Lowe’s property located at 15663 U.S. Highway 411, and evidence led them to these two suspects.  The items stolen were the property of SECO Electric Company and were stored on Lowe’s property for an upcoming job. Police also found evidence that Myers’ vehicle was involved in the crime.
