Sanford police confiscated a cache of weapons and drugs from a home Monday, after receiving tips from the community about drug sales at the location.
Police went to 911 Orange Avenue to serve a search warrant, but found no one at home at the time.
In the house investigators seized, 4.2 pounds of marijuana, ½ ounce of cocaine, an AK47, MAC 10, .45 caliber pistol, .357 revolver, and a night vision scope. Police said the guns were fully loaded and placed in the home as if they could be used immediately.
While no arrests have yet been made, a spokesperson from the Sanford Police Department said, detectives are close to completing their investigation and arrests were imminent.
