Orlando Police detectives are searching for a man who attempted to rape a paper delivery woman on Sunday morning on south Conway Road.
According to police, the adult victim was walking her paper route in the 500 block of south Conway Road when a black male confronted her with a gun. The suspect poked the victim in the stomach with a small silver gun and told her he wanted to have sex with her. The woman pled with the suspect and he let her go without sexually assaulting her.
Police said that a K-9 was brought to the scene, but met with negative results.
The victim suffered no physical injuries. The woman’s identity had not been released.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 10″, weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing jeans short,s a white jacket with a hood and a white t-shirt.
Investigation is on going.
