Police Searching for Attempted Hispanic Rapist

Orlando Police detectives are searching for an Hispanic male who attempted to sexually assault a woman on June 13, around 1:45 pm in the 5300 block of Millenia Boulevard.  The 34-year-old Hispanic woman was going toward the pool restroom and was attacked when she opened the stall door, police said.

According to Orlando Police Department (OPD):

On June 13, 2010 at approximately 1:45 pm, a 34-year-old Hispanic Female victim was at an apartment pool area in the 5300 block of Millenia Boulevard.

The victim had observed the suspect earlier wearing long dark shorts, and a dark button down shirt, white air Jordan shoes and had a beach towel designed like the flag of the Dominican Republic. The suspect is Hispanic, in his early 20’s, with thin to muscular in build, short hair and possibly a thin beard.  The victim also noted the suspect had tattoos on his chest, shoulder and calf.

Police are still seeking your help in identifying a suspect of this violent sexual battery attempt that occurred at an apartment near the Millenia Mall.   So far, OPD has only received very limited tips on the suspect.

Based on information obtained in the case, police believe the suspect may live in the area or may have known someone within those apartment complexes.
