Police took into custody today, a man who they say robbed two banks in Pasco County last week.
47-year-old Thomas Rhoden is suspected of robbing the Sunshine State Federal Credit Union in Zephyrhills on October 10th and police say, he is also a suspect in the robbery of a Bank of America in Hudson, yesterday.
Rhoden was found at the Travel Inn, 7532 U.S. 19, New Port Richey, just after 4:00 p.m., on Thursday. His truck was found at a nearby Hess gas station, and detectives began searching nearby hotels when he was found.
Rhoden was taken into custody without a fight. He will be booked into the Land O’Lakes Detention Center, police said.
