Police Investigate Homicide in Downtown Orlando

The Orlando Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened in the middle of the night at a downtown parking garage.




OPD reported that at approximately 2:13am officers responded to a shooting on the first level of a parking garage located at 2 S. Orange Ave.

One victim was located and transported by the Orlando Fire Department to an area hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

According to local police, this murder was an isolated incident and there is no current threat to the downtown Orlando area.

OPD Homicide Detectives are actively investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call OPD or report a tip anonymously to Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
