Orlando police have identified the 18-month old toddler who drowned after falling into a backyard swimming pool on Orlando’s east side on Sunday.
Arelis Verlarde, opened a door to the backyard and fell into the pool, while her father was caring for a newborn, police said.
The accident occurred at a home on Cyrilla Lane, off South Econlockhatchee Trail around 7:00 p.m.
The medical examiner is still to rule on the manner and cause of the toddler’s death, police said.
