Police Hunt for Suspects in Smash-and-Grab Robbery

Video surveillance - Mi Pueblito burglary suspects

Overnight, robbers broke into two local convenience stores for cigarettes and money and Ocoee police believe the two robberies might be related.

Surveillance video shows the black male suspects arriving at Mi Pueblito located at 451 Silver Star Road in a champagne or similar colored Chrysler Concorde, just before 4:30 a.m. One of the male suspects is seen breaking the glass to the front door with a crowbar, investigators said.

The men entered Mi Pueblito, stole a large amount of cash and Newport cigarettes, then fled the scene. The suspects covered their faces with shirts and wore dark clothing and gloves.

EZ Beverage at 1500 Wurst Road was robbed shortly after Mi Pueblito and a similar vehicle was seen leaving the scene. The suspects made off with Newport cigarettes from EZ Beverage.

While police cannot say for sure, it is possible that two burglaries could have been carried out by the same suspects.

Anyone with information concerning this crime is asked to contact the Ocoee Police Department at 407-905-3160 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477) / www.crimeline.org Commercial
