Investigators say, the suspect approached a woman as she walked on the bike path near Almond Avenue and Lake Baldwin Lane just after 10:00 p.m., on October 27. He demanded the woman’s cell phone.

In a separate incident, on November 1st, police say, the same suspect approached another woman, ran up behind her and snatched her cell phone. The woman was walking on the sidewalk on Lake Baldwin Lane between Mast Street and Stern Street, just before 10:00 p.m.

Police say, the suspect is described as a Hispanic (possibly Dominican or Caribbean) male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 180 pounds. He is believed to be between the ages of 25 to 35 years old. The man was last seen wearing all dark clothing: a black hooded shirt, long dark shorts and a ball cap and left both scenes on a black bicycle.

Police also say, there were no weapons seen in either of the incidents, although one victim told investigators that the suspect said he would stab her if she did not comply.

There were no injuries sustained during either of these robberies.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or knows the location of this individual, is urged to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers may be eligible for a cash reward.
