Today, Kissimmee police filed charges against a teen in the murder of a 17-year-old who was shot on his way to work.
Conrad Schafer, 15, shot and killed David Guerrero, 17, as he walked to a bus stop on June 26, police say. A single .45 caliber spent casing was found at the scene.
Detectives learned that Schafer was in possession of a Hi Point .45 caliber rifle which was located at Konrad father’s residence.
Police say, Schafer cooperated with detectives throughout the investigation.
Police also charged David Dumas, an acquaintance of Schafer, with one count of principal to first degree murder for his involvement in Guerrero’s murder.
Police also say, additional charges are pending on both Schafer and Dumas for their involvement in nine shooting incidents within the city of Kissimmee.
