Where are the VICTIMS’ Families? Speak up now or forever be victimized by LAPSES in Police Protection and Services.
A TOWN Hall Meeting was held in Orlando recently at the Orlando Smith Center Building on Bruton Boulevard. The Sentinel and several electronic media representatives were in attendance. During the Session, the Orange Branch NAACP President allowed several attendees to speak for a few Minutes and then finally at the end, the United States Justice Department Spokeswoman Asked for Suggestions or SOLUTIONS!
I, Tim ADAMS, a Long Time ADVOCATE of citizens Rights in Orange County spoke of How We need to have the U.S. Department of Justice Finally Allow the Community, that is the Victimized Community, to control and operate the W. E. E. D. and S. E. E. D.– specifically, to WEED out Crime and SEED the Economic Development National Program in Orlando and Orange County! The Malibu RAPIST Situation is a perfect Example of the Type of CRIME SPREE that could have been prevented, if there were more Protection and SERVICES than we currently receive in our Neighborhoods!
This is Obvious and perfect PROOF of what I spoke of, in the TOWN HALL Meeting!
Our Current Sheriff and Long Time Friend, Honorable Sheriff Demings took Exception to my offer of that solution and other remarks.
The Malibu Rapist is a Shocking example of WHY My Solution is the BEST Solution! With WEED and SEED Control by the MALIBU, Richmond Heights, PARRAMORE, Pine Hills and the Apopka-Winter Garden Communities, Oak Ridge and Semoran, including the WaterFord and Bithlo Communities, there will be no more one hundred–total crimes committed by any perpetrator such as this Malibu Rapist!
It was my Brothers–both Physicians who were regularly stopped by Orlando Police, and Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies as they worked to SAVE the LIVES of Patients, at Florida Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Lucerne Hospital, and other Orlando regional Hospitals.
Orlando and Orange County Deputies regularly and unnecessarily harassed my brothers and me many times, and had our vehicles searched by DOGS simply because they drove through neighborhoods where African Americans Live!
The Dogs Dirtied up their Cars and they were NEVER Compensated for the Dirt!
Doctors ADAMS also suffered each time an officer approached them with Contempt for the Fact that they were successful and serving their communities, with an expectation of dignity that they were denied at the hands of Many Orlando and Orange County Law Enforcement Officers.
These Actions caused them Stress and Caused me stress as a Community activist, to whom they explained their experiences all too often.
When I, Tim Adams Worked for the Orange County Sheriffs Department and for the Orange County sheriff Task Force and as an Orange County Sheriff’s Chaplin, with Pastor William David Judge and others, I Witnessed many officers who were Racist in their approach to African American Communities and the Disrespect that MANY of the Officers Exhibited to People like Myself who were never Criminals!
It is APPALLING that many of these officers felt that they were and are BETTER People that we are! The Demings are BOTH Excellent Law Enforcement Executives!
The executives are Not the Problem!
No one of us is any better than the Next GOD-Created Human Being! YET we see African American Women Thrown Down on the Ground, as was reported during the TOWN HALL MEETING and Treated like Animals while Tiger Woods’ Wife Beat him in the Face and Head and No Charges were Filed against her for her Domestic Violence toward Mr. Woods when she Caught him Cheating, as was the Case of the Mother and Daughter that testified at the Town Hall Meeting in Orlando two Mondays ago.
However, when the same Departments’ Officers were called to Dr. Jerome ADAMS home previously, they BARGED in and Held Dr. ADAMS Hostage and Refused to Leave his home when he asked them to do so! That caused him an enormous amount of Distress, including Mental Stress that Medicine cannot cure! That is why I am So Outspoken about use of Excessive Force by Police, such as shooting an unarmed African American more than one hundred and twenty Times by a Group of All White and Other Ethnic Group Officers; and the Community sits around and acts as if nothing is wrong with that Execution Style Murder!
