Orlando police have identified a person of interest in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Khoy Williams and Jonathan Cook, 17, in the early morning hours on Tuesday outside an apartment complex.
On Friday, 21-year-old Joshua Heard was named a person of interest by investigators.
Williams and Cook, both of Kissimmee, were fatally shot outside the Middlebrook Farm Apartments around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The pair were visiting friends at the apartment complex and were innocent victims of a robbery gone bad, investigators believe. Williams and Cook have no criminal history nor were they involved in any illegal activities, police said.
A third person, a 22-year-old man was also shot, but he survived his injuries.
Police also said, there were two suspects described by witnesses as:
Suspect#1: a thin black male, early 20s, approximately 5’7, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and white shoes.
Suspect#2: a thin Hispanic male, early 20?s, approximately 5’5 to 5’7, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
