Police Arrest Two Men for Armed Robbery at I-Drive Motel

Orlando Police have arrested two men who robbed four victims at gunpoint at the Days Inn Motel on I-Drive early on Thursday morning.

Tony James German, 19, and Marcus Fabian, 17,  were arrested and charged with several counts of kidnapping with intent to commit a felony with a weapon, robbery with a firearm and home invasion with a firearm.

The victims told investigators they were robbed at gunpoint by two men, who stole their personal belonging.  One of the victims was also pistol-whipped on the head with a gun. The suspects, who were later identified as German and Fabian, entered the room by shooting out a window, the victims told police. Eye witnesses confirmed the sound of a gunshot. The suspects then fled the scene in a Honda Accord parked in the rear of the Motel.

Police said the suspects next drove to the Fountains Apartment Complex located at the intersection of Millennia Boulevard and Oakridge Road, not far from the Days Inn Motel. An alert security guard called police, indicating the presence of a gold Honda Accord at the Complex.  Police were able to set up a perimeter and a search led to the apprehension of German and Fabian.

The victims were able to identify German and Fabian as the gunmen who had robbed them earlier.

The suspects stole a Dell Laptop, I-phone, a wallet, credit cards and a US Airforce coin, among other items.

German and Fabian were arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail.  The suspects have been charged with several counts of kidnapping with intent to commit a felony with a firearm, home invasion with a firearm and robbery with a firearm.
