Police Arrest Two in Liquor Store Armed Robbery

Nathaniel Jones (l) Raymond Manuel (r)

Orlando police have arrested two suspects believed to be responsible for the armed robbery of a liquor store ten days ago.

21-year-old Nathaniel Jones and 38-year-old Raymond John Manuel were arrested on Friday, in connection with the armed robbery of Walgren’s Liquor Store on October 4.

Investigators said, Jones and Manuel entered the Walgren’s Liquor Store at 5185 North Lane around 1:30 p.m. Manuel, who carried the handgun, demanded money from the clerk at the cash register.

It is believed that Jones, went into the store before the robbery took place in an effort to case the business, police said. They fled the area in a white SUV.

Jones and Manual were arrested last Friday and booked into the Orange County Jail. They have been charged with several counts, including robbery with a firearm, conspiracy to commit grand theft and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
