A Eustis woman, who was already on felony probation for narcotics possession, returned to jail on Tuesday after police searched her home and found hydrocodone and propoxyphene in her possession. Two other occupants in the home were also arrested and charged with possession of Ritalin and other abused drugs.
Vicki L. Smith, 42, was charged with felony possession of Hydrocodone and felony possession of Propoxyphere after Eustis Police executed a search warrant on her home on Tuesday. Smith was also charged with violation of her felony probation. Detectives discovered and seized several items of drug evidence, paraphernalia and cash from her home.
The narcotics search warrant served on Smith’s home this morning was the second search warrant executed at her home on South Grove Street this year. The Eustis Police Department conducted an investigation earlier this year in January, which resulted in the arrest of three individuals to include Ms. Smith.
Amanda Twichell, 25 and Paul E. Ferguson, Jr., 19 years were also arrested today when police raided Smith’s home.
Twichell was charged with felony possession of Ritalin, felony possession of Hydrocodone, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and Marijuana, less than 20 grams. Mr. Ferguson was charged with misdemeanor petit theft.
