St. Cloud police have arrested an inmate who they say is responsible for the death of a teen, who disappeared last June.
20-year-old Anthony Guglielmini has been charged with first degree muder in the death of 16-year-old Ashley N. Jung.
Guglielmini was offically charged in the Osceola County Jail where he is already incarcerated on unrelated charges.
Jung had been reported missing through the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. But on June 23, 2011, when investigators arrived at 819 Carolina Avenue in St. Cloud, they discovered a human body, consistent with that of a female.
Through DNA analysis, cell phone records and text messages and interviews with several persons of interest, friends and family members, investigators were able to link Gulielmini to Jung’s murder.
Gulielmini was arrested Wednesday in the Osceola County Jail and charged with Jung’s murder. He has also been charged with providing false information to law enforcement officers.
