Orlando Police have made an arrest of a man who they say attempted to rape a 15-year-old girl near the Rosemont Community Center last August.
Tyshawn Henderson, 19, was taken into custody on Thursday. He is charged with one count of kidnapping and one county of child abuse. Henderson was also arrested for violating his probation on which he was placed for grand theft on September 30.
Police said, Henderson is responsible for attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl on August 22. The incident occurred near the Rosemont Community Center on Rose Bay Drive.
Henderson was arrested without incident at his home on Watch Hill Drive today, after probable cause was developed to charge him two days before.
