A Winter Haven woman who attacked a 67-year-old woman at an ATM, dragging her by the hair to the ground, has been arrested, police said.
Jesula Edriss Duga, 28, is in the Polk County Jail, charges with several counts, including aggravated battery of a person over 65 years and resisting arrest without violence.
Polk County Sheriff’s said Duga got into a verbal argument on January 3, 2011, with the 67-year-old woman at an ATM outside the Publix supermarket at 1395 6th Street, NW in Winter Haven. The argument escalated and Duga grabbed the victim by the hair, throwing her to the ground, police said. Duga fled the scene on foot.
Fortunately, the battery was caught on a video surveillance clip.
Duga was arrested at her home on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. At the time of her arrest, Duga was on probation for a previous battery offense in August 2010.
