Orlando police have apprehended three suspects in connection with a burglary that occurred in the Baldwin Park area on Tuesday.
It happened in the 2000 block of Lake Baldwin Lane in Baldwin Park, around 12:00 noon.
Given the spate of burglaries in the area over the past several months, additional units have been placed in the area – the Joint Anti-Crime Unit and the Tactical patrol Unit.
The suspects’ vehicle, a blue Toyota, was observed by JAC and TAC units leaving Baldwin Park and was stopped in the 400 block of west Colonial Drive.
Police found stolen electronics and jewelry, among other items, inside the vehicle. Police also say, other property was found inside the vehicle which may be connected to other burglaries.
Two males and one female suspect, all in their early 20s, have been detained.
It is believed that the suspects might be connected to other burglaries in Orlando and other local jurisdictions. The names of the suspects have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
