An 18-year-old woman who told police that she was raped by three black males in an overnight attack has recanted her story and detectives now say that the case is unfounded.
The woman had said earlier she was forced off the road in the 5000 block on Rosamond Drive off OBT around 2:30 am on Monday morning, and then raped by three black males driving a black Ford Taurus. The woman described the men as being in their twenties, all of whom were wearing black clothing with masks.
The Orlando Police had been actively investigating the case, following the woman’s claims.
