Plate Above Catering, a full-service catering company with a mission to provide memorable experiences through delicious food, is selling Thanksgiving Meals-to-Go in Central Florida.
Every holiday order also helps a neighbor one plate at a time, the company said.
With cooking and cleaning topping the list of Thanksgiving stressors, Plate Above Catering is offering to make the holiday easier.
Central Floridians ordering a family meal-to-go can choose between:
- Sage Butter Whole Turkey
- Roasted Pork Loin
- Baked Ham
Proteins are paired with harvest stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh green beans or roasted vegetables; a specialty side, such as cranberry chutney or mac and cheese; plus pan gravy or honey mustard sauce. A family meal-to-go costs $179 and feeds eight people.
A Prime Rib family meal is also available for $299 and includes au jus and horseradish sauce, herbed fingerling potatoes and roasted asparagus.
Extra sides and add-ons (yeast rolls, orzo pasta salad, sweet potato casserole, broccoli and cheddar casserole or a harvest cookie tray) can also be purchased.
In addition to reducing cooking and cleaning time, every order from Plate Above supports the Culinary Training Program at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The 16-week course is free for qualified students looking to start or grow a career in the food service sector.
