The Florida Department of Health (DOH), following a joint investigation with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, arrested David Lawrence who was practicing dentistry without a license and operating an unlicensed dental laboratory, a third degree felony, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.
DOH received multiple complaints concerning Denture World previously Denture Plus located at 10094 West McNab Road in Tamarac, Florida.
David Lawrence, the owner of the business, allegedly practiced dentistry without a license on several patients/victims by examining them, taking impressions for upper and lower dentures, seating dentures, adjusting and relining dentures. It is also alleged that Denture World is operating as a dental laboratory without the proper permit.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Lawrence at the facility after an extensive joint investigation with ULA investigators. Lawrence is not licensed to practice any healthcare profession in Florida.
This is all BS. I have been to this dentist and I have never seen him practice on anybody. He often greets people when they walk in, but never practiced on anyone. This old lady(like many old grumpy ladies in Boca who just want free money) just wants to make a quick buck.
