Today’s cyber connected world has access to any and all information one may want to read pertaining to the Masonic Lodge, both positive and negative. Let us delve into the most recent perceived linkage to the power-hungry, world dominating Illuminati.
What is the Illuminati anyway?
As there is no short answer even with all the information available on the internet, let us just say that conspiracy theorists believe the Illuminati is an ancient and shadowy group of elites who control nearly every aspect of life on this planet — from finance and government to religion and culture.
Furthermore, The Illuminati is made up of the world’s political and financial elite, and also, rappers. Theoretically, membership rolls are kept secret.
What do the Illuminati do?
Well, you know conspiracy stuff. Assassinations, currency manipulation, Super Bowl halftime shows….stuff like that… All executed through puppet institutions and groups like the Federal Reserve, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Freemasons, and Def Jam Recordings. And all carefully controlled and hidden to ensure that their meddling in world affairs will remain secret.
Concerning the influence actually exerted by the Illuminati, the statements of ex-Freemasons must be accepted with reserve, when such statements ascribe to the order a leading role in the outbreak and progress of the French Revolution. Presentation of facts was often erroneous, and inferences untenable. In view of our present knowledge of the French Revolution they are extremely improbable. Concerning the carrying out of the principles of “enlightenment,” in other words, it was Freemasonry and practical Liberalism adapted to the requirements of the age. As such it exerted an important influence on the intellectual and social development of the nineteenth century. I went and dug this stuff up folks. Pretty deep huh?
I quote the words of Johann Adam Weishaupt, a German philosopher and founder of the Order of Illuminati, a secret society with origins in Bavaria. “Freemasonry is none other than the propagation of the “enlightenment” whereby the seed of a new world will be so widely scattered that no efforts at extirpation, however violent, will avail to prevent the harvest.”
Weishaupt later declared that Masonry was the school from which “these ideas” emanated.
He was initiated as a Freemason in 1774 in either Hanover or Munich, but found that no one in his order truly understood the occult significance of the ceremonies. He decided to found his own organization, which he did on the first of May 1776. This organization was first known as “The Order of Perfectibilists” but became famous as the “Ordo Illuminati Bavarensis,” or the Illuminati for short. Current Illuminati members believe that Adam Weishaupt was a look-alike for George Washington, and it is actually Weishaupt’s image that appears on the one-dollar bill. Sorry, I never have a buck long enough to decipher nor care who the hell is on the face of it.
According to theorists, there are 13 bloodlines lined up to carry out world domination for the Illuminati. Two names from the bloodline list, (which has expanded from 13), you’re sure to recognize are Kennedy and Rockefeller. Look up the rest for yourself; you’ve got Google and YouTube.
Sooo who is in the Illuminati anyway?
Fast forward from Weishaupt’s era to today and you may be shocked at the ever expanding list of membership. Most YouTube connoisseurs agree that the following people are members:
Barack Obama, The Pope, Queen Elizabeth II, George Soros, Ben Bernanke (currently chairman of the Federal Reserve, the central bank of the United States), George W. Bush, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Bob Dylan, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Jim Carey, and even Willow Smith.
Personally, I’ve seen videos from: Professor Griff (of Public Enemy fame), Dave Chappelle spoke candidly about it, and also Michael Jackson warned about them before he “died.”
Joe, Katherine and the family didn’t believe it was Dr. Conrad Murray (whom the public ostracized) and neither do I. For further personal insight, you’re free to peruse sights such as, Alex Jones’s Info wars. Or plug the term into Google and YouTube then, judge for yourself.
Remember, you must sift through all these allegations and accusations according to your personal truth and your own common sense, assuming you have some.
The following entertainers are rumored to be Masons: Jay Z, Kanye West and Rick Ross. None of these men has openly professed to be Masons. Rick Ross actually denied it on film. However, of all the Masons I personally interviewed to produce this, none was shy about what their affiliation was or the intentions of the lodge they belong to.

Franklin “Ace” Oxendine is a Master Mason first. More importantly he is a leader amongst Masons in his elected post as Worshipful Master of Boaz Lodge #212, which falls under jurisdiction in Florida under the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge which governs Florida, Belize and Central American Masons. Its Grand Lodge is located in Jacksonville.
Oxendine explained that P.H.A. is an acronym for Prince Hall Affiliated. Refer to my first installation of this series for various denominations in masonry. Prince Hall was noted as a tireless abolitionist, for his leadership in the free black community in Boston, and as the founder of Prince Hall Masonry. Hall tried to gain New England’s enslaved and free blacks a place in Freemasonry, education and the military, which were some of the most crucial spheres of society in his time. Hall formed the African Grand Lodge of North America and was unanimously elected its Grand Master and served until his death in 1807.
Oxendine, a 5th year member, said he is considered “new” to the organization and that his is a position not attained in many lodges. It is elected.
“It is not an easy journey,” he stressed. “Though there is much info is out there but I know nothing about the illuminati being linked to what I know as the brotherhood of freemasonry. I am not a member of the illuminati. I’ve not encountered anything negative about the order; we police ourselves but are usually on one accord. A disruption within my personal lodge is non-existent. I’ve not known any mason who worships the devil.”
Oxendine continued, “I am a Deacon in my church; if we (Masons) were secret you would know nothing about us. There is good and bad in every organization. One bad mason doesn’t speak for the entire organization.”
Shane Bevilaqua, of Abraham #587, also is unaccustomed to any link to the illuminati. “I do not worship the devil and hold no religious discussion whatsoever except the belief in a higher power which was consistent with my upbringing. Although people have their own understanding of a given concept or organization, The Masonic lodge is not a part of the illuminati,” he confided.
Charles Thomas, Worshipful Master of the same lodge as Bevilaqua, also stressed that the lodge is not affiliated with anything oppressive or world dominating.
“I have heard that masons were Ku Klux Klan members, I heard they were the Freedom Riders, and all sorts of rumors,” Thomas chided. “The system and order is so vast that it has touched every facet of society. I would say men who are masons have touched every piece of our historical vantage points. Some of the men who organized the illuminati may very well have been Masons. However, Masons as I know the brotherhood, is not trying to take over the world. I feel it is mostly a lack of understanding.”
“Ignorance is driven by fear and lack of knowledge of the lodge, Thomas continued. “We have become a generation of people who have been fed such (Sic) garbage via YouTube, etc. Instead of researching a given ideal or organization, we take what is fed to us. People of color have allowed their sacred symbols of Black culture and Black history to be viewed in a negative way.”
