Osceola Deputies Bust Five Grow Houses

Osceola County Investigative Bureau (OCIB) agents and Polk County drug agents located five grow houses on Thursday. The operation began in June when OCIB agents followed up on information from a grow house discovered in May. The information led to a residence in Kissimmee.

OCIB agents served three search warrants located at 2413 Lemberton Drive in Kissimmee, 2583 Jasmine Trace Drive in Kissimmee and 3179 Rosemarie Drive in Kissimmee. Polk County Drug Agents served three search warrants in Polk County at 109 Meadow Green Drive in Davenport, 186 Timberpark Drive in Davenport and 258 Richmond Drive in Davenport.

Agents said that two of the houses in Osceola were active cannabis grows and all three in Polk County were grows. Between the two counties, 157 plants were recovered that ranged from two to seven feet tall.

Deputies arrested Saul Mesa, 45, in Kissimmee.  Armando Dominguez Sanchez,38, Jose Marante, 45, Lazaro Piloto, 45 and Gomez Dayami Lopez, 44 were arrested in Polk County.

All five suspects were charged with Cultivation of Cannabis and Theft of Utilities and remain in custody.

    When are grow-op providers going to learn that stealing electricity will surely get you caught? When are Osceola County police and sheriff cops going to start doing something more useful than busting pot shops, pill mills, and other so-called crimes, victimless crimes (victimelss except for those families to be broken apart by Florida’s medieval system).
