A woman who shot her husband during a domestic altercation on Tuesday night, has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
Lillian Mack, 50, was taken into custody, after police arrived at the couple’s home in the 700 block of Woods Avenue in Orlando.
Investigators learned that Mack and her husband had an altercation and she pulled out a hand gun. Mack’s husband was shot in the arm.
Police found broken glass all over the floor and believed that there was some sort of struggle between the pair.
According to the arrest report, Mack had several opportunities the leave the situation before it became physical, but chose instead to retrieve a handgun during the verbal altercation.
Mack was booked into the Orange County Jail around 3:30 a.m., Wednesday morning, without bond. She is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
