Two teens who carjacked a woman at gunpoint and ended up driving over gravestones in Woodlawn Cemetery on Orange County’s west side, are now in custody.
Orange County deputies say, Josue Leroy, 16, and Allen Joseph, 14, carjacked a woman around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, as she was unloading her vehicle at 6100 Gamble Drive.
The woman told investigators, a suspect, later identified as Leroy, pointed a handgun at her and demanded her car keys. Meanwhile, Joseph, stood at the rear of her vehicle.
Fearing for her life, the woman handed over her car keys and the pair drove off.
A description of the 2002 Blue Hyundai Santa Fe, the victim’s car, led deputies to identify the vehicle near Good Homes Road and West Colonial Drive.
A chase followed to Woodlawn Cemetery at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, where the suspects drove over gravestones before they were apprehended.
The victim was able to identify Leroy and Joseph who have been charged with carjacking with a firearm.
