Orlando SWAT Team Recovers Drugs & Gun after Crimeline Tips

The Orlando Police Department’s Special Enforcement Division and the SWAT team recently served a search warrant at a residence in the 4800 block of East Michigan Street after multiple Crimeline tips and citizen complaints.

Detectives located 282 grams of cannabis, 15 grams of THC wax, 2 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of MDMA, cash, and a firearm:




According to local police, Iraseliz Albelo, a convicted felon, was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of Cocaine. Demondre Scott was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis w/Intent to Sell/Deliver with a Firearm, Tetrahydrocannabinol, and MDMA.

Under Mayor Buddy Dyer, local crime, guns, and drugs all remain problems around Orlando and downtown. Police remind all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.

You can call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477) where your information will be taken in strictest confidence. Your identity will be protected and you will never have to give your name. You will be given a confidential tip code number. Tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000. All tips eligible for a reward are paid to tipsters using an anonymous process. Remember, if you witness a crime in progress, you should call 911.
