Orlando SWAT Team Makes Homicide Arrest

The Orlando Police Department announced a homicide arrest stemming from an investigation of a July 22nd murder.

According to law enforcement, Carl Robinson was arrested by the SWAT team for Second Degree Homicide with a Firearm.

OPD said this arrest is the culmination of the investigation into the homicide of Marcus Demps that occurred on July 22nd at 36 Pershing Place. A search warrant was subsequently executed on Robinson’s residence utilizing SWAT, the Fugitive Investigative Unit, and Homicide Detectives.

As local crime, guns, violence all remain problems around Orlando and downtown, police remind all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.
