The Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM), one of Orlando’s oldest and largest homeless service providers, is celebrating their 65th Anniversary featuring 65 different stories of former residents who have successfully completed the program and have left the shackles of homelessness. OURM’s purpose is to provide basic necessities like food, clothing and shelter to homeless individuals and also help them have a self-sustaining future and new life in Jesus Christ.
The anniversary will end with a special celebration event on November 6th from 3pm to 6pm. This event will take you to the heart of the Mission as it will feature a special tour throughout the O.U.R. Mission Home. The tour will give visitors the opportunity to meet some of the people featured in the 65 success stories.
The public is invited to witness the amazing work that happens at the Mission. OURM is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. For more information or to RSVP, call 407-422-4855 ext. 1103.
