Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to attend the 36th annual Fireworks at the Fountain event this Fourth of July at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. Fireworks at the Fountain is the largest and longest running fireworks display in Central Florida.
New this year, attendees can watch the fireworks at the newly expanded southeast corner of Lake Eola Park, which officially opens to the public on the 4th. The 1.36 acre expansion includes more prime viewing spots to watch the fireworks, fresh sod, new LED lighting and widened sidewalks.
Fireworks at the Fountain festivities begin at 4 p.m. and spectators are encouraged to arrive early to select their viewing spot. Guests will enjoy live entertainment and a large play area just for kids. Festive Fourth of July cuisine will be available for purchase. The highlight of this event is the patriotic water, light and sound show at 9:05 p.m. followed by a spectacular 20 minute fireworks finale that will begin at 9:10 p.m.
