In an effort to efficiently and safely remove suspected drunk drivers and traffic violators from the highways, the Orlando Police Department will be conducting a DUI detail, beginning Thursday, November 10, at 10:00 p.m. through 4:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11.
The area of concentration will be on the Kirkman Road Corridor, Interstate 4 and Downtown Orlando.
Officers will utilize visual observations, speed detection equipment and travel in marked and unmarked vehicles as they DUI detail is carried out.
The Orlando Police Department aims to promote safe driving by this high visibility DUI detail, traffic enforcement tactics, among other means.
