Police are looking for a suspect in an afternoon bank robbery in South Orlando.
Orlando Police spokesman Sgt. Vince Ogburn says it happened at TD Bank, 2859 Delaney Avenue, just after 12:00 noon, Monday.
Ogburn said a man walked into the bank, handed a note to the teller and demanded cash. He says the suspect implied he had a weapon.
The man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, in a northbound direction.
The suspect is being described as a white male, about 5’11” tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap with sunshades on top of the cap and a black sweatshirt.
Anyone who knows the identity or location of the suspect is urged to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. Persons may be eligible to receive a reward of up to $5000.
