Video tape of two armed men who robbed a Burger King on east Colonial Drive was released by the Orlando Police Department on Thursday.
Police say that on July 18, two unknown armed black males robbed the Burger King at 3200 E. Colonial Drive, around 5:00 am.
Wielding silver pistols, the robbers forced their way into the fast food joint when the manager opened the Burger King early that day. Upon gaining entry, the suspects forced employees into the cooler and barricaded the door to the cooler, before fleeing. Other employees were forced to the floor in the office.
The suspects took the nightly deposit and cash on hand, in addition to the employees’ money. One suspect was wearing a distinctive backpack (see photos).
No injuries were reported, as a result of the armed robbery.
