A suspect wielding a large knife robbed a convenience store on Edgewater Drive, on Thursday, Orlando police say.
The armed robbery occurred just after 3:30 a.m., when a man entered the 7-Eleven Food Store located at 1500 Edgewater Drive.
Police said the suspect jumped over the counter of the store, threatened the clerk with the knife and demanded the cash register be opened.
The suspect exited the store in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly about 5′ 7″ tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie and black shorts and covered his face with nylon panty hose.
The surveillance video from the store captures the suspect brandishing the knife as he orders the clerk to open the cash register. The video also shows him stuffing cash into a bag, after the register is opened.
