Event: School Supply Give-Away
This week, the Engelwood Neighborhood Center will be hosting the last week of their summer program.
On Tuesday, August 17 2010 at 10:30 A.M. the Orlando Police Department Motor Unit will have an opportunity with the Nielsen Company to participate in a back to school supplies giveaway at the Engelwood Center.
Approximately 200 bags with supplies have been donated to the Orlando Police Department Motor Unit for them to distribute to the kids. This event will allow for us to provide some school supplies to the kids during these tough economic times. The kids will receive the bags from the motor officers and they will get to see the Orlando Police Department motorcycles up close ….which is often enjoyed by the kids.
