Orlando Police Chief Hosts First Quarter Community Meetings

Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith is hosting his first quarter community meetings, with one meeting planned per city district.




These meetings will provide important updates from OPD, highlight neighborhood crime trends, and give residents the opportunity to collaborate directly with the police department on ways to enhance community safety in Orlando.

OPD recently reported significant crime reductions, crediting proactive policing and community support. OPD said Orlando is seeing clear and measurable progress in public safety, with crime trending down across nearly every major category over the past three years.
