Orlando Police Arrest Bank Robber

 

James Allen, Jr. - suspect

A man who Orlando police said, robbed a Bank of America branch on Thursday, has been arrested.

49-year-old James Allen, Jr., entered Bank of America at 501 West Church Street just before 2:00 p.m., and demanded cash, investigators said. He implied he had a weapon one was not seen.

Allen then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and entered the Hughes building. He was later apprehended by police.

No one was injured during the bank robbery.

Allen is currently being interviewed by members of OPD’s Criminal Investigative Division.

A perp walk will be scheduled for later this evening, police said.
