A man was found dead in a house on Beacon Street on Monday morning, after Orlando police failed to get him to come out of the home.
Police were called to a home in the 4800 block on Beacon Street around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, in connection with a stabbing. Police say, a woman told them that her boyfriend had stabbed her inside the house.
Investigators attempted to get the man to come out of the house, but were unsuccessful.
OPD SWAT Unit was called to the scene and after deploying gas, entered the home around mid-night.
Officers found the man dead inside the home.
Police say, the wound was self-inflicted.
The identity of the man has not been released.
