WHAT: Orlando Magic “Deck the Halls”
As part of NBA Cares Season of Giving, over the next two weeks Orlando Magic players and staff will “deck the halls” of Central Florida. Activities include a hospital visit, shopping spree, gift deliveries and other surprises.

Orlando Magic Staff Host Christmas Drive to Benefit Beta Center
Orlando Magic staff is hosting an internal collection drive to benefit women and children at BETA Center. Staff will donate diapers, formula, clothing, and toys to local infants and toddlers. BETA’s mission is to provide children and parents with the knowledge and support needed for strong and healthy families. With a focus on parenting, teen moms and at-risk families, BETA Center changes behaviors and lives.

Florida Hospital for Children Visit with Magic’s Glen Davis, Kyle O’Quinn and Hedo Turkoglu
Magic players Glen Davis, Kyle O’Quinn and Hedo Turkoglu along with Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, STUFF the Magic Mascot and Magic Dancers will spread some cheer to pediatric patients at Florida Hospital for Children. The group will deliver gifts, sign autographs, play games and bring ‘magic’ to young fans.

To celebrate the holiday season, Magic guard Jameer Nelson will shop for gifts for a local family. Nelson will surprise the family with the gifts on December 18.

Magic “Make a Wish” Come True
Magic will provide a game night experience for the family of 13-year-old Jeremiah Christopher Hunt. Hunt, who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer this year, and his family will be the Magic’s special guest sitting in courtside seats, participating in the “high-five” line and meeting players pregame.

J.J. Redick’s Santa Surprise
Through the J.J. Redick Foundation, J.J. and Chelsea Redick will bring early holiday cheer to children from The Russell Home, a non-profit organization for severely handicapped children in Central Florida. The Redicks will roll out Santa’s sleigh courtside with a wagon filled with special gifts.

J.J. Redick and Andrew Nicholson Pepsi Holiday Shopping Spree
Magic players J.J. Redick and Andrew Nicholson to take 75 youth from the Boys and Girls Club on a holiday shopping spree. Pepsi will donate 50 $100 gift cards and the J.J. Redick Foundation will donate 25 $100 gift cards to each youth for the shopping spree. In addition, Pepsi and the J.J. Redick Foundation will each donate $2,500 ($5k total) to the Central Florida Boys & Girls Club to help support their programs. Fox Sports Florida will provide transportation for youth to and from the event on its Magic Fan Express.

It’s a “Big Baby” Christmas
Magic player Glen Davis through his foundation, The Glen Davis Foundation, will distribute toys to 75 kids at the Downtown Boys and Girls Club. Children will also enjoy Christmas cookies and a Christmas story book reading by Davis.

The Magic’s Big Give
For the fourth consecutive year, the Orlando Magic will celebrate Christmas in a BIG way surprising a local family during the Magic vs. Jazz matchup. The Magic will provide the family with a limo ride, dinner and courtside seats to the game. At halftime, the Magic will shower the family with gifts.
