WHAT: Orlando Magic’s 25 Events in 25 Days
As part of the Magic’s 25th Anniversary, the Magic will celebrate with Central Florida hosting events around town over the next 25 days (from Oct. 7 – Oct. 31). Activities include rally routes, reading corner builds, an open house, contests, a pizza delivery, check presentations, golf tournament, watch parties and tailgates.
EVENTS:
Day One: Mon., Oct. 7
Inaugural “Magic Mondays” contest, fans wearing Magic apparel every Monday will have a chance to win prizes including tickets to an upcoming game. The Magic will be around town during lunch to reward fans.
Day Two: Tues., Oct. 8
True Blue Rally Route in Kissimmee. Rally route will feature Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, STUFF, the Magic Dancers and giveaways including tickets to an upcoming game. For more info. on route visit http://www.nba.com/magic/true-
Day Three: Weds., Oct. 9
Jacksonville pregame FanFest prior to Magic vs. Pelicans preseason game. FanFest to feature inflatables, Magic RV, Magic Kia, pregame concert featuring “J-Dash” along with a dance contest, prize launch and Magic merchandise.
Day Four: Thurs., Oct. 10
Magic will build 25 reading corners around Central Florida in one day presented by Florida Blue.
Day Five: Fri., Oct. 11
Magic Kia magnet contest at FanFest prior to Magic vs. Cavaliers preseason game. Ten fans will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to that night’s game and a pair of tickets to opening night on Nov. 1.
Day Six: Sat., Oct. 12
Orlando Magic Open House presented by Chase. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the entire Magic team, along with the Magic Dancers and STUFF at Amway Center.
Day Seven: Sun., Oct. 13

Day Eight: Mon., Oct. 14

Day Nine: Tues., Oct. 15
Quill Educator of the Month presentation, 9:45 a.m. at Lake Brantley High School. As part of the Magic’s education initiative, the Magic along with Quill will recognize six educators as the “Educator of the Month” throughout the season. The Magic will surprise that month’s winner in their classroom and present them with $500 towards school supplies.

Day 12: Fri., Oct. 18
Magic face painting contest at FanFest prior to Magic vs. Grizzlies preseason game. Ten fans with the best face paint will have an opportunity to win a pair of tickets to that night’s game and a pair of tickets to opening night on Nov. 1.
Day 13: Sat., Oct. 19
Magic Papa John’s pizza delivery with a Magic player, Magic community ambassador, STUFF and the Magic Dancers. The Magic group will take the order and then deliver the pizza to a few lucky fans.
Day 14: Sun., Oct. 20
Magic’s Pink in the Paint night, in partnership with Florida Hospital at the Magic vs. Pistons’ matchup. The Magic and Florida Hospital team up to show their support for breast cancer awareness. A portion of the proceeds from group ticket sales to that night’s game will go towards providing free mammograms to underserved Central Florida women through the Florida Hospital Breast Care Fund.
Day 15: Mon, Oct. 21
Habitat for Humanity home dedication, the Magic and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando will partner for the fifth time for a home dedication ceremony and present keys to a brand new home to one Central Florida family.
Day 16: Tues., Oct. 22

Day 17: Weds., Oct. 23
Magic check presentation to local nonprofit, Orlando Magic player Jameer Nelson will present a check for $25k to The Gift of Swimming.
Day 18: Thurs., Oct. 24
Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) Open Golf Tournament to raise money for the Magic’s foundation.
Day 19: Fri., Oct. 25
25 Magical Wishes tipoff at Magic vs. Pelicans’ game. Throughout the season, the Magic will be granting 25 Magical Wishes for local youth in Central Florida who have had or are suffering from any life-threatening medical condition. The children will be invited to a Magic game for a VIP experience.
Day 20: Sat., Oct. 26
UCF football tailgate takeover, the Magic RV will set up at the pregame FanFest at the UCF home football game against the UCONN Huskies. Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, STUFF and the Magic Dancers will be on hand for the celebration.
Day 21: Sun., Oct. 27
Magic to participate in Festival Calle Orange with the Magic Dancers and STUFF.
Day 22: Mon., Oct. 28
STUFF’s three-point play show launch at one local elementary school. The show will teach students three fundamental attributes to being a great student – eating healthy, exercise and education.
Day 23: Tues., Oct. 29
Taco Tuesday Takeover at Wall Street to feature the Magic RV, Magic Kia along with a dance contest and ticket giveaways.
Day 24: Weds., Oct. 30
FOX Sports Florida Watch Party, the Magic will partner with FOX Sports Florida and 580ESPN Radio to host the Magic @ Timberwolves watch party featuring Magic talent.
Day 25: Thurs., Oct. 31
Halloween costume giveaway and retail sale, the Magic Team Shop presented by adidas will host a retail sale and special promotions including a Magic basketball player costume giveaway.
